Did you spot a STORE favourite in the Daily Mirror this week? Our now famous disposable BBQ stand got a neat mention . Although we’ve stocked the disposable BBQ stand for a couple of years now we still think it’s a great space saving (and time saving) alternative to the traditional garden BBQ. Better still, it can sit on your table top and as it takes a standard disposable BBQ box there’s no fuss, mess or even scorched grass.

The Independent ranks STORE in “50 of the best”
Wednesday, June 16th, 2010
Last Friday’s Independent newspaper had a great “50 of the Best” supplement and this time it was the gardens turn. We’re pleased to report our Mini Greenhouse for those with storage issues in small gardens was voted 29th beating garden storage products from big names like Homebase and B&Q.
Sadly, our funky Fatboy ‘Headdemok’ hammock didn’t make the cut this year losing out to another very nice looking hammock. We we’re still very proud to have received a listing amongst all those big retail names though for our space saving mini hardwood greenhouse.
Ideal Home Magazine & our toy storage solutions
Tuesday, June 15th, 2010Ideal Home Magazine featured our new LEGO toy storage boxes on their “Shopping Spy” website this week saying:
“we think these funky storage boxes are going to be HUGE… .The best thing is, all the storage boxes including the head have real LEGO clip-together knobbly bits (this sounds slightly dodge but you know what I mean and the correct terminology is eluding me!!) so you can build away merrily, pretending you’re Arrietty.HOW cool is that!
STORE team complete Mountain Marathon
Monday, June 14th, 2010Congratulations to our MD Simon Glanville and his running buddy Dr Ulf Demnitz who completed the Lowe Alpine Mountain Marathon (LAMM) this weekend at Glen Fyne in Scotland. The veteran pair came a respectable 46th in the D-category crossing the finish line in a record-breaking 11 hours and 17 minutes over the two day mountain event. Simon tells us he even had time to point a few potential storage solution customers in the direction of some camping storage products on our website during the event! Between them, Ulf and Simon have completed 11 Lowe Alpine Mountain Marathon’s and (according to Simon) it’s “all the fault of our elfa shelving.” Ulf was originally an elfa customer at STORE’s Chester flagship shop looking for walk-in wardrobe storage and in an effort to secure the sale, Simon agreed to run the Lowe Alpine Mountain Marathon! Five years later the mad pair are still running.

“to make an room look great, it’s essential to get the right accessories…[here are] some fabulous items that would add that vital finish touch”.
Thanks Sunday Herald we’re really pleased you thought our wine racks were stylish!
Our wardrobe interiors in House Beautiful Magazine
Thursday, June 10th, 2010We’ve pleased to report that House Beautiful magazine are featuring our modular elfa shelving in their upcoming July edition. Elfa storage offers a great way to tidy-up the inside of a wardrobe and make best use of space at a fraction of the cost of some larger bespoke wardrobe interior systems we’d care to mention!
Elfa is so easy to install and once a horizontal top track is screwed in, all the other hanging and storage elements simply clip into place. As House Beautiful mentions, STORE offers a free design service to allow the user to make the most of their available wardrobe space.
Shown on the right is a retro fit elfa shelving solution inside a customer’s existing fitted wardrobe which offers plenty of storage space for everything from shoes to the flat screen TV
LEGO Storage Boxes
Thursday, June 3rd, 2010Our new range of stackable LEGO brick plastic storage boxes are coming soon to a STORE near you…and as we get closer to the week we exclusively launch our LEGO brick storage box range in the UK we’ve had some great new photos taken of the these neat modular storage solutions. I thought it’d nice to give you a sneak peak here on the blog before the official launch as I’m really pleased with the results of the photo shoot:
Our new range of LEGO brick plastic storage boxes are not just for small kids storage needs!
I’m delighted with these great photos of our new LEGO brick plastic storage boxes but I can’t help thinking they look a bit surreal as I’m not use to seeing LEGO bricks at this sort of scale. I’m really pleased that we also managed to get a photo of the boxes under the bed. When we first saw these stacking LEGO storage boxes with thought they’d be great for children’s toy storage but they actually make great underbed storage boxes for big kids too!
Our new range of LEGO plastic storage boxes will be available in STORE from mid July 2010…it’ll be worth the wait, they’re the best looking children’s toy storage boxes we’ve seen in years!
