Watching BBC TV yesterday I was amused to see that the space shuttle Atlantis has blasted off to the International Space Station carrying a million worms from Bristol destined for a zero gravity muscle wasting experiment.
Even more surprising was that the publicity shot showing the Caenorhabditis Elegans worms at their UK home showed them happily living inside one of our sturdy plastic storage boxes! Our storage box (it’s the 9 litre plastic box) was sitting on a shelf inside the scientists fridge.
I’m not entirely sure whether our plastic storage boxes made it into orbit but it did bring a smile to my face thinking that we could be the first storage solutions retailer to have made it into outer space.

This is wonderful! I’m so entertained I just want to read it over and over again. Thank you for making my day a little bit brighter.
I really enjoy your funny comments, thanks for posting!
