On the basis that appearing just once in The Independents annual 50 Best Homeswares supplement is prestigious enough, to appear twice is a bit of a coup, especially when we’re surrounded by big retail names such as John Lewis and Next.

This year STORE stormed into the top 10 just behind Sainsburys with our stylish Nest Shoe Rack which offers an unusal take on the traditional hallway shoe storage rack. Our neat Cuboid CD Storage Rack was also featured, The Independent calling it:

Kate Watson-Smyth writing in the gardening section of The Independent last Wednesday had a great article called ‘Trowels at the ready’ which featured her top 15 essentials for the gardener this Spring.

In at number 5 were our hessian grow bag covers which she thought were a great problem solver for the greenhouse.

Also featured was our lovely gardeners potting bench at position number 2.

We Won... well almost!

We made position number 7 in this year’s “50 BEST” with our magnetic spice rack.

Better still we managed to secure  12^th place too with our Sinkside Dishwashing Set which is a really handy holder to store your dishcloths, scrubbers and washing-up liquid etc.

There was some other great kitchen ideas further down the list too but we can’t help feeling a little bit proud that little old STORE featured much higher than other big names such as Lakeland down in 17^th place and Amazon behind us in 8^th.
