What material is it made out of?

The storage box is crafted in spruce with a galvanised sheet metal lid which is slanted and hinged.

Can you use a sealant on the storage box?

A clear wood sealant can be used on this item (not included). We would also recommend re-treating the wood every year with a wood stain in order to prolong its life.

How tall is it with the lid open?

The box is approx 119.5 cm when the lid is fully opened.

Available in both large and small, our traditional outdoor storage box now comes with a Nordic feel. Crafted in spruce which has been dip treated with a water based non-toxic stain in a deep blackened finish. The stain also helps prolong its life outdoors.

The hinged galavanised sheet metal lid is slanted and its silver tones provides a lovely contrast to the darker blankened tones of the box. Weatherproof and durable, this box is ideal for gardening tools, outdoors toys, muddy boots and much more.

We have even included black stoppers which can be fixed to the feet to help keep the wood dry and off the floor.
