Our new Flatmate desk has been designed to turn even the smallest of spaces into a workspace packed with storage.

Handmade to order in Germany, this super stylish desk works as a functional home office that's so compact that you'll forget that it's even there. With a footprint of just 0.09 m² when folded, it's one of the smallest bureaus on the market.

The fold-down workspace is attached to the unit using high-quality dampeners for a safe and slow opening action. The worktop can support a massive 25kg of evenly loaded weight, more than enough for a laptop, paperwork etc.

The designers of the desk have literally thought of everything. The desk comes equipped with an LED light with a soft touch switch, a power socket and 2 USB ports. The power supply is discretely hidden down the back of the desk and is 1300mm long. There's a 3 part organiser set; pad holder, letter stand and shelf for making sure your paperwork, phone, tablet etc is neat, tidy and close to hand. Each of the 3 parts making up the organiser set has been crafted from powder-coated steel and can be placed anywhere along the 4 horizontal grooves on the back panel. On top of all of this, the unit also features an additional door on each side of the desk, where behind you'll find 3 storage compartments, offering more space to store files, a 17" laptop etc.

The desk has been crafted from birch plywood and is available in a couple of different finishes. The white and anthracite desk come with white metal feet and organiser set. The black desk has a matt finish and comes with black metal feet and organiser set and finally, the oak coloured desk has a matt black finish on the inside and has black metal feet and organiser set. The matt black and oak colour options have both been treated with a high-pressure laminate. The HPL finish is perfect as it offers high abrasion, impact and scratch resistance properties.

Flatmate is delivered to you fully assembled. You must secure it to your chosen wall using the fixing kit supplied.
