Our Promise

We believe that we have exceptional products and a great customer service policy in a world where the cult of mediocrity prevails. Many of our products carry 5-10 year guarantees and we will be delighted to honour these guarantees in the event that you are not entirely happy with your purchase.

We offer delivery anywhere throughout the UK and Northern Ireland. Stock permitting, most orders can be delivered within 2-5 working days, however please allow 28 days for delivery as we occasionally run out of some of our innovative and popular space saving storage items.

If you do live outside of the UK, you can still place an order for delivery within the UK and we are able to offer delivery to a number of European countries which can be seen at the checkout stage. If you would like delivery to a country which is not listed, then please call us on 01244 680 501 or e-mail us at info@aplaceforeverything.co.uk and we can obtain a delivery quote from our courier for you.

European - Standard Delivery
Please allow 10-14 days for delivery. Our charges cover export only - EU countries may charge customs duties which are payable by the recipient in that country - but we’re afraid we can’t say how much these might be. Goods may also be inspected. This service requires a signature for delivery; please note that a telephone number must be provided before we can despatch your order.

Need help with calculation of import and export duties? The European commission has an easy to use online tool, which will help calculating these costs for both non EU and EU member states.

Within the United Kingdom Mainland (excluding some Scottish Highland's postcodes) our standard mainland delivery charge is £5.95 but with many smaller items available for a £4.20 delivery charge using our Royal Mail Packet rate. Special handling charges may apply to bulky or weighty purchases or destinations surcharged by our couriers. If you're in a hurry please call us on 01244 680 501 and we can arrange a next-day service. We cannot deliver to PO Box address and please remember, like most retailers, our deliveries do require a signature (excepting small items sent on the Packet Rate option).

We trust our couriers (who we know and love!) to deliver our products to you in perfect condition. However, damages do very occasionally occur in transit. Therefore, when receiving deliveries please check for damages to the outer box before signing the receipt. If there is visible damage please sign and write "outer damaged" below your signature. If you have a moment to open the parcel and check the contents it's always advisable but if you're pushed for time please write "contents unchecked" below your signature.

Our packing team are a conscientious bunch but hand's up, we're not perfect! On the very rare occasion where an item is missing from an order, we'd ask that you report this to us within 5 days of receipt otherwise we may not be able to honour sending-out a replacement.

If you've not received your order within 7 working days and have not heard from us regarding a delay to your order, please contact us ASAP and we will follow-up with our couriers on your behalf to save your phone bill! We ask that you contact us within 21 days of placing your order otherwise we will be unable to use our couriers 'track & trace' system to locate a missing parcel and therefore unable to replace or refund any missing goods after this time.

What if I'd like to Exchange or Return an Item?

We are very happy to refund or exchange items you are not entirely happy with and we will gladly arrange free collection on any defective item. However, in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with a purchased item and wish to exchange it, you will be responsible for return postage at the prevailing rate (this is currently £9.95 per parcel but could be around £30 - £50 for bulky furniture and beanbag items).

In these cases all items must be returned within 14 days of purchase with the original packaging intact and in a resalable condition. Please return your goods to us yourself or call A Place For Everything on 01244 680 501 and we will arrange collection. In compliance with UK law our range of kitchen knives are age restricted items. By placing an order for one or more knives you are declaring that you are 18 years of age or over.

Any contract between us, whether for use of the site or in relation to the purchase of products or services through the site will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and all parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. Any contract will be communicated in English.

We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of www.aplaceforeverything.co.uk, however we cannot guarantee uninterrupted and totally reliable access, and so therefore can not guarantee that the information will always be completely up to date and free of mistakes. To the extent permitted by applicable law, A Place For Everything disclaim all warranties; expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on www.aplaceforeverything.co.uk and will accept no liability for any loss or damage arising as a result of problems with access.

A Place For Everything has made every effort to reproduce colours on the site as accurately as possible. However, different PC's and monitors reproduce colours in slightly different ways. Exact colour matches are not yet possible. When you order products from the www.aplaceforeverything.co.uk , colours may differ from what you see on the screen.

All product dimensions are stated as accurately as possible, however sometimes product sizes do vary slightly especially on natural products such as rattan, wicker etc. If you have issues relating to fitting our products into a particular space please telephone on 01244 680 501 for additional product details as A Place For Everything cannot be held responsible for size issues after products are dispatched.

We may periodically offer discounts, promotions or 'sale prices' using checkout codes or clearly marked reductions to the normal price. Such discounts apply only to existing stock and may be withdrawn at our discretion without notice. Current discounts and promotions can only be applied singly, two or more discounts may not be used for the same purchase.

A Place For Everything shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage, which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.

A Place For Everything shall not be liable to any person for any incidental costs or expenses incurred by late or non arrival of couriers or postal services for delivery or collection of parcels.

Some larger furniture and other of our storage items require timed delivery slots for your connivence. If our couriers are unable to deliver to you in the pre-agreed time window for reasons such as (but not limited to) no-one is in at the agreed delivery address, there is a vehicle or other access issue at the address that has not been specified by yourselves at time of order etc. then you will be liable for any redelivery charges issued by our courier.

Some Hyperlinks on www.aplaceforeverything.co.uk may lead to other websites, which are not under the control of A Place For Everything. When you activate any of these you will leave the www.aplaceforeverything.co.uk website and A Place For Everything has no control over and will accept no responsibility or liability for the material on any website which is not under the control of A Place For Everything.

A Place For Everything validates the order and credit or debit card details submitted to us before your order can be accepted. Once that has been done, we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you provide in your registration form.

Subject to further validation checks we may choose to make, our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding agreement between us.

A Place For Everything reserves the right to restrict the number of items available for sale to any individual customer. All orders are subject to availability. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund.

We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. Payment will be debited from your account at the time of order. All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.

A Place For Everything has taken care to ensure prices are accurate. Prices may change over time. All prices include VAT where appropriate. Promotions and prices you see in store high street shops do not apply to www.aplaceforeverything.co.uk, and vice versa. All sales to UK (except Channel Islands) and European Community (EC) clients are subject to VAT on most goods at 20%, which is included in the prices shown in the online catalogue. Carriage is not subject to VAT. Non EC clients are exempt from VAT. EC business clients are exempt from VAT, but a valid EC VAT number must be provided.

The exclusions of liability set out in these terms and conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of A Place For Everything or any of their employees or agents.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, or unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
