We offer delivery anywhere throughout the UK and Northern Ireland. Stock permitting, most orders can be delivered within 2-5 working days, however please allow 28 days for delivery as we occasionally run out of some of our innovative and popular space saving storage items.
If you do live outside of the UK, you can still place an order for delivery within the UK and we are able to offer delivery to a number of European countries which can be seen at the checkout stage. If you would like delivery to a country which is not listed, then please call us on 01244 680 501 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can obtain a delivery quote from our courier for you. Please allow a few extra days for delivery if your order is being shipped outside of the UK.
Within the United Kingdom Mainland (excluding some Scottish Highland's postcodes) our standard mainland delivery charge is £5.95 but with many smaller items available for a £4.00 delivery charge using our Royal Mail Packet rate. Special handling charges may apply to bulky or weighty purchases or destinations surcharged by our couriers. If you're in a hurry please call us on 01244 680 501 and we can arrange a next-day service. We cannot deliver to PO Box address and please remember, like most retailers, our deliveries do require a signature (excepting small items sent on the Packet Rate option).
We trust our couriers (who we know and love!) to deliver our products to you in perfect condition. However, damages do very occasionally occur in transit. Therefore, when receiving deliveries please check for damages to the outer box before signing the receipt. If there is visible damage please sign and write "outer damaged" below your signature. If you have a moment to open the parcel and check the contents it's always advisable but if you're pushed for time please write "contents unchecked" below your signature.
Our packing team are a conscientious bunch but hand's up, we're not perfect! On the very rare occasion where an item is missing from an order, we'd ask that you report this to us within 5 days of receipt otherwise we may not be able to honour sending-out a replacement.
If you've not received your order within 7 working days and have not heard from us regarding a delay to your order, please contact us ASAP and we will follow-up with our couriers on your behalf to save your phone bill! We ask that you contact us within 21 days of placing your order otherwise we will be unable to use our couriers 'track & trace' system to locate a missing parcel and therefore unable to replace or refund any missing goods after this time.
We are very happy to refund or exchange items you are not entirely happy with and we will gladly arrange free collection on any defective item. However, in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with a purchased item and wish to exchange it, you will be responsible for return postage at the prevailing rate (this is currently £9.95 per parcel but could be around £30 - £50 for bulky furniture and beanbag items).
In these cases all items must be returned within 14 days of purchase with the original packaging intact and in a resalable condition. Please return your goods to us yourself or call TheStore Ltd on 01244 680 501 and we will arrange collection. Once items are received safely back to our warehouse a refund will be processed. Some larger furniture and other of our storage items require timed delivery slots for your connivence. If our couriers are unable to deliver to you in the pre-agreed time window for reasons such as (but not limited to) no-one is in at the agreed delivery address, there is a vehicle or other access issue at the address that has not been specified by yourselves at time of order etc. then you will be liable for any redelivery charges issued by our courier.
