Did you know that kitchen waste can be used to generate electricity? For example, a single banana skin will keep an LED light illuminated for 34 minutes - so don't just ditch it!

It's worth saving kitchen scraps, and our new steel countertop bin is the perfect place to store them.

The compact design means it will find a home in small kitchens and the lid features a removable activated charcoal filter to absorb any potential nasty smells.

The bucket is available in a choice of two colours, and the bamboo handle makes it easy to either empty the contents into a compost bin or a larger waste bin.

Fill the bin with orange peel, eggshells, salad leaves etc.
